Sports Bars? Why buy them when you can make your own that are tastier with fewer ingredients.
My Peanut Butter Banana Sports Bar recipe came together so easily and so quickly, I didn’t even bother making a video. This recipe is a dream for its simplicity.
Also, I love to hike with my own sports bars. I am tired of eating sports bars that look like brown molded wax. This sports bar has ingredients you can taste and recognize. Bonus: it travels well on the trail!

2 cups of raw oats
3 brown bananas (more brown the better!)
3/4 cup of peanut butter powder
1/2 cup of oat milk
1/2 cup heaping raisins
2 tablespoons date syrup
pinch of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Directions: Mash brown bananas with a fork in a bowl. Add in all other ingredients. Mix well. Layer into 7″ x 11″ pan. Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 30 minute. Let sit for 5-10. Boom! Yum and done!
Use as a sports bar on the go OR eat warm in a bowl with oat milk and date syrup drizzled on top for a super healthy dessert.
