Here’s why: Russell Simmons is unapologetic about doing the right thing. He doesn’t tip-toe around or try to hold back. He doesn’t soften his words or his perspective or excuse himself for asking that people be kind to animals, look at the damage of the food system on the planet or take responsibility for their actions. He notes that meat and dairy are ruining his world, and he has a right to it. It’s his air, too, and he isn’t backing down. I love him!
