Do you like spicy snacks? Do you like nutty snacks? Do you want to add a little extra crunch to your meals? Well then this recipe is for you! This healthy, spicy, nutty snack is perfect to eat on the go as well as add to your favorite meals.

You only need four simple ingredients to make these tasty tempeh sticks. They can act as breadsticks on the side of a meal if you need to add a little spice or crunch. They can also be great snacks on their own! These tempeh sticks are perfect when you need a nutty, crunchy, spicy snack!

I take mine on roads, hiking trips and I make people jealous on plane flights!


2 Packages of Tempeh

3 Tablespoons Bragg’s Amino Acid

1 Tablespoon of Sesame Oil

Fools Gold Brisket/Seitan Rub (or alternatively Spicy Paprika)


Cut the tempeh into 1/4 inch think stipes. Lay out on a baking sheet lined with tin foil.

In a separate bowl, combine oil and Braggs.  With a spoon, dribble the liquid on to each tempeh stick.  Rub in the spice to your spicy liking.

Set oven to 375 and on convection. Cook for 30 minutes.  DELISH!
