Fig Bars, people, Fig Bars!
Fig Bars!! It is the season for figs!! Have at it folks. I love this recipe…and if you can make it without the frosting, I am going to say these fig bars are pretty healthy! 🙂
2.5 cups of fresh fig slices
3/4 raw oats
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
2 big pinches of salt
2 TBLSP almond butter
2-3 TBLSP date syrup
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup raisins
Take Tofutti Sour Cream.
Wash and slice figs. Put in Cuisinart.
Add 1 cup of Pecans. Mix. Put in bake pan.
Add in 3/4 cup raw oats, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup coconut flakes, 2 large pinches salt, 2 tablespoons almond butter. 2-3 tablespoons of date syrup.
If you can avoid eating this batter, put in oven for 30 minutes on 350. Let cool for 20. Cut into bars or freeze and save for your next hiking trip!
Frosting (optional as a dessert). Mix 5 tablespoon of Tofutti Sour Cream and 6 teaspoons of brown sugar. Mix and spread on bars.
