Fig Bars, people, Fig Bars!
Fig Bars!! It is the season for figs!! Have at it folks. I love this recipe…and if you can make it without the frosting, I am going to say these fig bars are pretty healthy! 🙂
2.5 cups of fresh fig slices
3/4 raw oats
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
2 big pinches of salt
2 TBLSP almond butter
2 TBLSP vegan butter (optional)
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup raisins
Take Tofutti Sour Cream.
Wash and slice figs. Put in Cuisinart.
Add 1 cup of Pecans. Mix. Put in bake pan.
Add in 3/4 cup raw oats, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 coconut flakes, 2 pinches salt, 2 tablespoons almond butter. 2 Tablespoons vegan butter (optional).
If you can avoid eating this batter, put in oven for 30 minutes on 350. Ten let cool for 20. Cut into bars.
Frosting (optional). Mix 5 tablespoon of Tofutti Sour Cream and 6 teaspoons of brown sugar. Mix and spread on bars.
