Jasmin Singer – a force to be reckoned with, and yet, at the same time, a gentle, loving soul. Needless to say, I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I walked into the offices of Veg News in Hollywood where Jasmin is the Senior Editor. As if the life of a Senior Editor and author isn’t hectic enough, Jasmin is also the co-host of Our Hen House podcast. Like I said, she is a force to be reckoned with!
Jasmin Singer and I shuffled into Veg News‘ backroom with no air conditioning and sat down at an unfolded table and chairs, congniscent that we were both under a huge time crunch. We were sweaty and rushed. However, in the short time that we had together, Jasmin and I connected. In a surprisingly meaningful way for two people who had never met before beyond a passing ‘hello’, Jasmin truly gave hundred percent of her self in our interview. She was present, warm and filled with knowledgable life lessons that most of us rarely have the time to consider.
Jasmin has a lot to offer the world. Hers is an interesting story of self-discovery, and, as she notes, radical change, self-love and a path to compassion. A veteran journalist and author (her book Always Too Much and Never Enough is out now), Jasmin is no dummy. In our discuusion, she highlights the benefits of a compassionate life and how changing how she saw herself and, thus, how she now sees the world created a life altering and life affirming shift for her.
Jasmin and I also dished on happiness. In the end, can we be happy? Oh, we get into it! We cover lots of ground in this half-hour podcast. Candid, compassionate and always real…this podcast cuts to the chase. A short clip of our happiness conversation is below.
Thank you to Jasmin Singer for sharing her story with me…and now you. Listen in, watch and enjoy!
